Carson Park Train

Update:

If you've got little ones, you really should treat them. Take them to the Carson Park train. It's a special treat, and you don't have to wait for the fair to ride!

When my son was little, he was all about Thomas the Tank Engine. It seems that his entire kindergarten year was filled with blue trains and railroad tracks. He loved the trains at Carson Park so much, he insisted on riding both of them!

The other day my son and I took a walk up the road to the Rail House. It was so peaceful up there. The road is well kept and would be great for a bike ride.

At one point, we were able to oversee the river. When we finally got to the Rail House, we could see the stadium. It was hard to believe considering the long curve of a road that we walked up.

The old fashioned brick at the station was beautiful. Rustic and worn, I admit I would have loved to take it home.

Between the Carson Park train, the Dairy Queen at the park entrance, and the great play equipment in other areas of the park, kids have plenty to do. This train could make their day.
