We dropped off the dog at grandma's house and hit the road. The breeze, the sun, the Saturday-ness of it all was really great. Right away, though, we had to stop. White Cow Antiques was calling.

I have driven by this place countless times and never stopped -- and maybe you have, too. It's on a busy road, and I'm always going a bit fast and on my way to something. Today, though, we stop whenever we want...

White Cow Antiques has a lot more than I expected. Outside was a huge metal bug sculpture. Very unique and cool. It had a large drill bit for a stinger, but it looked like a big house fly. When I touched it, it moved and bounced on the coil base.

Inside, you'll find some nice furniture pieces. You'll also find the largest collection of Last Supper artwork that I've seen. If you collect old crockery, you should probably stop here, too.

Sparkly things always draw me in, so the costume jewelry was fun. What really surprised me was just how BIG a space they have.

If you're looking for some Eau Claire antiques, stop in. Just remember to slow down -- and remember that they're open sporadically. Be open to the adventure.
