Things that draw people to our fair city -- the medical community seems to be always growing. Also, technology is big. We've got a few huge music events each summer.

One of our greatest resources is the land. Take a drive through one of our parks. Relax on the weekend.

I took the car out yesterday to visit a friend. The curving road meandered between farms and trees. I even saw an eagle close up! This is the beauty in and around Eau Claire.

I love the changing seasons in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Yes, I'd probably order less of winter. Nevertheless, you just don't get it elsewhere.

Frosty mornings where every branch is silvered -- postcards just don't cut it. Trips to the apple orchards in the fall, you can't photograph that smell. Our summers are great because they're not too hot.

The UWEC and nearby UW-Stout enrich Eau Claire by adding to the diversity. Many University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire students live around Water Street. On Water Street, you'll see everything a student could need -- from food to laundromats and beauty shops. There's also some fun and interesting shops.

Eau Claire Wisconsin -- home of Packer fans, farmers, doctors, and a lot of other folks. If you can't live here, visit awhile. Go biking at a park. Party at one of the festivals. Check out our plays and symphonies. Go to a drive-in movie. Have fun!
