Are you a coffee lover? Do your eyes refuse to open before you've had your second (or third) cup? If so, I understand. This is why my mission is so vital. I must find the best coffee in Eau Claire!

I stopped into Gloria Jean's Coffees at Oakwood Mall in Eau Claire on a rainy Thursday morning. The smell of a coffee shop was instantly satisfying.

Per my usual, I tried a medium roast -- Kenya AA. I'm not sure what that means beyond that it was from Kenya. It smells great, though. Stronger than expected, it makes me wonder what their dark roast was like -- (French Breakfast Blend).

There's not a whole lot for food at the coffee shop, but there are plenty of coffees. Try some right away, or take some home. Their blend is good enough to treat guests or treat yourself.

I don't often think of Oakwood Mall as a great source for coffee, but they serve up a good cup of Joe. That accounts for the steady stream of people coming and going.
