Marina and I stopped in one day and I was blown away. One of our local artists was creating art from soda cans and cd's. Modern tapestry. The art looked like grandma's quilts!

Yep -- modern art that still had something of history in it.

Another time I stopped after lunch at Obsession Chocolates (good chocolate, btw). The Eau Claire Regional Arts Center Gallery (Janet Carson Gallery) had lovely botanicals to show.
